Direct Output

Provides controlled feed to external multitrack recorder, or

can be used as effects send or in monitor mixes to generate

artist-specific versions of generic mixes using Matrix section.

Mode Switch (down arrow) – When out, all controls affect

Direct Output connector. When depressed, all controls affect

Pan and Assignment section in place of normal post-fader

signal. This allow the use of this level control as an additional

send to the main buses. Useful when the Console is in Stage

monitor mode.

Fader PRE Switch – Selects signal source pre-fader instead

of default post-fader.

PRE EQ Switch – Selects pre-fader signal source pre-EQ

instead of the default post-EQ.

Level Control – Incorporates push-push switch to turn section

on and off. Status indicated by dual color LED.

Internal Jumpers – Select Direct Out options when MODE

switch is depressed. Jumpers duplicate top panel switches

which are now controlling the send to the main buses. (this is

still unclear).......

Assignment

Routes signals to Group and Main buses. Allows discrete bus

assignment, or pan between odd and even buses when Pan

switch is active.

MONO – Assigns channel to mono (center) mix bus.

LEFT/RIGHT – Assigns post-pan signals to Left and

Right buses.

LCR – Activates true LCR panning function when both

Mono and Left/Right switches are depressed.

PAN – Adjusts image between L and R outputs. In LCR

mode, provides true LCR panning between Left-Center

and Center-Right buses.

Mono Input Module

Input module functions are designed for maximum flexibility in Front of House (FOH), Monitor,

and Remote Broadcast applications. All switches are illuminated, and panel value markings directly

equate to actual functions.

Input Modules

The following descriptions highlight major design features of the V12

modules. Facilities common to all quality consoles (e.g. polarity reverse

on input modules) are not specifically mentioned, though most show on

the accompanying module diagrams.
